The Sakura Garden Bloesempark in Amsterdamse Bos makes for a stunning backdrop for timeless beautiful imagery of Couples & Families!
While it can seem like overnight the gorgeous Sakura Blossoms begin to bloom, the delicate blossoms only last for a week or two each year so having your photos taken underneath them is pure magic! Read on to learn more about these special Portrait Sessions and how to book yours!
Session Planning
We start by hearing your personal goals for your session, choosing the date, time, and location and then sending you a booking proposal and having you pay the Session fee.
Photographing
We get you get prepped on what to wear as well as any other important info before your session. We meet and have a super fun, relaxed time, capturing you!
The Magic Touch
After your session it takes about 2 weeks to go through your images, process and edit. You receive a slideshow set to music and private gallery that supports social sharing so you can show all the fun you had.

It's always difficult to predict when the beautiful delicate cherry blossoms will bloom especially when were planning a session around them, but it's always worth the wait and a little flexibility. Thankfully the KersenBloesem Park or Sakura Orchard is located in my neighborhood so I will be closely monitoring them and working together with my clients.
Because the full Bloom period is almost impossible to predict further than 10 days in advance, when your reserve your session we will put a rough day on my calendar but could possibly change due to the seasonal nature of the sessions as well as bad weather.
There are 3 stages to the bloom period: The beginning just as the trees are beginning to blossom, when the trees are in full white Bloom, and as the petals began to fall off and turn more pinkish.
Sessions are held early in the morning to avoid crowds both for safety measures regarding Corona Virus and to reduce the ammount of visitors in the background of images. For this reason sessions are limited. If there are no available session times that work for you, feel free to reach out and get added to a waitlist in the event that a spot opens up.
